ClockingIT began in 2005 as a way to manage projects for several consulting clients — and account for where the time went.
What it is
ClockingIT is a hosted workspace for tasks, projects, collaboration, and time tracking. It is designed for teams that need structure without having every available tool in the way.
Why it exists
Consulting meant juggling several projects across several clients, each needing clear progress and time reports. ClockingIT grew out of that practical problem and has kept the same basic purpose through many redesigns and rewrites.
Who is behind it
ClockingIT was created by Erlend and Ellen Simonsen in Oslo, Norway, and remains independently run.
